Wanderhotel Erika is in the picturesque village of Wagrain in the Austrian Alps, in the Salzburg region. This family hotel is an ideal place for lovers of nature and outdoor activities. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery and offers comfortable, cosy accommodation in traditional Alpine style. The location of the hotel gives easy access to many hiking and cycling routes. In summer the hotel is an excellent base for hiking, nordic walking and mountain biking.
The facilities of the hotel include modern rooms with a balcony, a wellness centre with a sauna, a steam bath and a relaxation room. Guests can also use the heated outdoor pool and the gym. The hotel restaurant offers a rich buffet breakfast and dinners with regional specialities. There is also a bar and a lounge. For those who like trips there are various options in the area. Popular destinations are a trip to the lake Jägersee, where you can enjoy quiet and relaxation by the water, Wagrainis Grafenberg - a fun and educational park for children and adults, where you can discover nature, play and learn, and the summer cable cars Flying Mozart and Grafenbergbahn. The waterfall Liechtensteinklamm - an impressive natural phenomenon, which is worth a visit for its stunning beauty and the waterfalls dropping into a deep gorge.

Location:
A quiet and sunny spot. Shops and restaurants/bars are about 50m away, the centre of Wagrain and the Amadé water world about 200m. St. Johann railway station is about 9 km away.

The whole hotel was renovated in autumn 2018! A friendly, modern house under family management with 38 rooms, a dining room, a day bar, WiFi, a sun terrace and a car park.

Room description:
All rooms have a shower/WC, hairdryer, cable TV, telephone,safe and balcony.
Double/triple room: for 2 – 3 people, with a double bed and 1 separate bed. max. occupancy: 3 adults.
Family room: for 3 – 4 people, with a double bed and 2 extra beds or bunk beds. Minimum occupancy: 2 adults + 1 child, maximum occupancy: 4 adults.
Single room: for 1 person, max. occupancy: 1 adult and 1 child.
Included in the price:
- Overnight stay with half board plus.
- Country buffet breakfast from 7:30 to 9:30.
- Homemade cakes from 15:30 to 17:00.
- In the evening you can choose from a menu (3 menus to choose from) with a salad buffet.
- 1 x a week a barbecue evening and a farmer’s buffet.
- During dinner: 1x 0.5l juice drink for children 2 – 15 years, (still fruit juices), 1/8 l of wine per adult (red/white) or 1/3 l of beer and table water included in the price.
- A guided trip etc. (according to the programme of the TVB – the tourist office - on site).
- Hiking equipment rental (backpack, poles).
- 1x a week a family afternoon from 14:00 to 17:00 in July and August at the TVB – according to the schedule on site.
- Entry (depending on the season) to the Erlebnis-Wasserlelt Amadé water world (about 200m from the hotel) – daily throughout the stay! (opening hours of the water world below*)
